Roadmap Update
Hey GTM, Sales, and CS teams,
I want to provide a transparent update on some immediate changes to our Q3 product roadmap.
As we've scaled, our current query engine has started hitting performance bottlenecks, particularly for our largest Enterprise customers. To ensure we can support our next phase of growth, we are aggressively re-prioritizing our roadmap to focus on infrastructure.
What is changing
Pausing Automated Insights to accelerate the Query Engine Migration
We are pausing development on the Automated Insights Module to shift 3 engineering squads onto the Query Engine Migration project.
Why we're doing this
Churn risk. We've seen a slight uptick in churn risk among top-tier accounts due to query timeout errors.
Future scale. We can't onboard the incoming Q4 pipeline on the current architecture without severe degradation.
What is delayed
Automated Insights Module Originally late Q3 | Pushed to Q1 |
Custom Alerting UI Originally August | Late October |
What this means for you
For Sales
Do not promise Automated Insights in any Q3/Q4 deals. Focus the narrative on our commitment to enterprise-grade performance, speed, and reliability.
For CS
If your accounts are experiencing query timeouts, let them know that a massive infrastructure upgrade is our #1 company priority right now.
I know delaying features is never fun, but this strategic bet is necessary to build a platform that won't break as we scale to $100M ARR.
